Formula-IT™ is the name given to Kennedy Consulting’s proprietary information systems management methodology.  The methodology covers the full system development life cycle and encompasses all aspects of information systems management within an organization.  It has application in both information systems efforts and general modernization projects that involve both software applications and upgrading of infrastructure and equipment.

Formula-IT is, in essence, a collection of integrated methods or “formulae” (hence the name), covering the whole of the life cycle, from strategic planning through to implementation and review.  Each “formula” focuses on a single aspect of information systems management.  For example, there is a “formula” for each of: IS strategy, project and program management, disaster recovery planning, strategic performance review and package based software integration.  Each “formula” can be utilized independently of the others.
